The Worry Hasn’t Stopped
You have no idea where to start. The constant overthinking, feeling stuck and the pressure to be perfect is mounting. You’re exhausted; mentally, physically and emotionally. Oftentimes, having physical pains, negative thoughts of “I’m not good enough” and feeling of sadness or anger.
It didn’t used to be this way. You were vibrant and hopeful but now everything seems doom and gloom. You worry too much and it’s easier to shut down or stay home and polish off a bottle of wine until the pain and worry go away.
But the pain and worry always return. Sometimes you think the worry and pain is normal, but recently it’s gotten worse and you’ve had panic attacks or lack of sleep. You are struggling at work, falling behind on projects and isolating yourself from coworkers. You feel overwhelmed by anxiety and you know that something has to change.
Help is on the Way
My name is Melissa and I help adults who are tired of feeling “not good enough” and worrying about everything and letting them know it’s okay to not be okay. Together, my clients and I work hard to experience change over time, to not only decrease anxiety, but to increase positivity within self, in the relationships around them and in their spiritual relationship. With therapy, healing is possible and I’m here to help you along that journey.
Experience is Key
For over 10 years, I have worked with individuals who have anxiety, worry, panic attacks and past trauma. My clients typically come to see me weekly so they have consistent support. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and will often integrate Christian values and various exercises to help decrease anxiety and worry. Therapy doesn’t have to feel scary and hard. It can feel like a relief, a breath of fresh air after you’ve been gasping for a long time.
